All Neverness to Everness Characters (NTE Roster, Version 1.3)
The full Neverness to Everness (NTE) roster as of Version 1.3 "Rising from the Moonlit Fog" — 22 playable Espers, 16 S-Class and 6 A-Class. Every row lists the character's element and Arc type (which decide who they can team with and which weapons they can hold), their role, when they arrived, and how you actually get them. Rankings live on the tier list; the element system itself is explained in the Esper Cycle guide.

Notes on individual characters
- Zankou
- Version 1.3 headline character. Comes with a Home Time invitation mode, Bond quests and a passenger-seat ride-along unlock.
- Shinku
- Transformation DPS built around her Surging Crimson state; received three fixes and one interaction upgrade in 1.3.
- Nanally
- Rerun headliner in 1.3, sharing the patch with Zankou. Her kit centres on the Ichi-daime's Authority state.
- Iroi
- Team-sustaining Anima support with her own Home Time mode, City Hangouts story and Bond ride-along. Trackers split on the Support vs Survival label.
- Mint
- Officially confirmed as an A-Class rate-up character on both the 1.2 and 1.3 boards — the easiest S-tier-adjacent damage option for new accounts.
- Esper Zero
- The protagonist Esper. Received exclusive outfits through the 1.2 Neon Rift mystery box and the 999 Nights Button Shop.
- Hotori
- Kit is built on the Non-Closed Timepiece resource that replaces cooldowns; trackers disagree on whether to label her DPS or buffer.
- Lacrimosa
- Chaos Liquid damage dealer; one of the most searched builds after Zankou and Shinku.
- Chaos
- Received a dodge visual-effect upgrade in Version 1.3 and a new shop outfit, "Chartered Waves".
- Chiz
- Grain resource system; rated at the very top of the roster by the tracker that publishes numeric ratings.
- Baicang
- Applies three Power Words (Bless, Silence, Objurgate) that pay off during his domain Ultimate.
- Daffodill
- Shield-breaking specialist through the Light Prism passive.
- Fadia
- Damage-redirect tank; the most common answer to "what is a redirect skill" in NTE.
- Hathor
- Express Delivery Power system built around her courier background.
- Jiuyuan
- Marking-based damage through the Lethal Rose Pact; trackers list her element as Lakshana and Anima respectively.
- Sakiri
- Team-wide ATK buffs via the Impish Trick passive; the standard-pool support most teams build around.
- Skia
- Stealth-and-ambush kit. The official 1.2 phase-two notes name her as an A-Class rate-up, which settles the rarity split between community trackers.
- Linko
- Sources disagree on whether Linko is already playable; we list her separately until the official patch notes name her.
- Adler
- Officially named as an A-Class rate-up on both recent boards.
- Edgar
- Officially named as an A-Class rate-up on both recent boards.
- Aurelia
- Jellyfish-riding traversal instead of climbing; obtainable without pulling.
- Haniel
- Free A-Rank support with team ATK bonuses through her speaker, Hootie — the budget answer when Sakiri is unavailable.
How this table is sourced
Rarity comes from the official patch notes wherever they name a character — the Version 1.2 and 1.3 board announcements confirm Mint, Edgar and Adler as A-Class, the 1.2 phase-two board confirms Skia as A-Class, and the 1.2 Standard Character Selection Box confirms Sakiri, Baicang, Hathor, Fadia, Daffodill and Jiuyuan as standard-pool S-Class. Element, Arc type and role are cross-checked between two independent community databases. Where those disagree — 4 entries currently — the row is flagged as disputed rather than silently picking a side.
