NTE Map and Locations: Every Region in Hethereau
NTE’s world is a city first and a fantasy map second. Here is what exists, when each part opened, and how to get around it.
The districts of Hethereau
The core city is divided into districts, each hosting its own anomaly commissions and side activities:
- Bridge Crossings
- Unheard Shores
- Illusion Town
- Miguel District
- New Herland District
You unlock them as the main story progresses; the story and quest guide covers the order.
Expansion regions
Warren Continent (Version 1.2)
Reached during the main story episode “Fighting with a Dragon”, which itself requires completing “Dreamwalk Corridor” and Hunter Lvl 26. The official description calls it “a vast land brimming with fantasy” — a deliberate tonal break from the urban districts. The 999 Nights event mode is anchored here, and Version 1.3 added its Gauntlet of Valor mode to the same continent.
Duskmoor (Version 1.3)
The newest region, live since August 19, 2026. Official description: sweeping natural scenery, the Starfall Bay Resort, and the open waters of Tearlake. It shipped with six new anomaly commissions — Twin Blooms, Lantern Parade, Storybook Skirmish, Finale: Da Capo, Fawn Alone and Sunken Door — and the summer event cycle is built around its coastline.
Two Version 1.3 additions make Duskmoor easier to traverse:
- The Tide watercraft from the Lucent Tides mystery box, summonable in ocean and lake areas
- New passenger orders for Swift Cab and delivery orders for City Delivery covering the new locations
Getting around
Traversal in NTE is vehicle-led rather than glider-led:
- Cars and bikes are core, not a side system — see the vehicles guide. Version 1.3 added Auto-Drive to City Delivery and several new racetracks to Races - Online
- Gliders exist and their liveries are standard banner rewards (the Scarlet Sash and Underboss-of-the-Underboss liveries both came from Version 1.3 boards)
- Photo Mode now works while driving or swimming, which is the most reliable way to scout a coastline
About “interactive map” searches
A lot of people search for an NTE interactive map, and two community sites host one. We do not, and the reason is a deliberate policy rather than laziness: publishing a pannable copy of the game’s map means republishing Hotta Studio’s map art, which falls outside what we consider fair use of a publisher’s assets. This site sticks to official press material, our own screenshots and text.
What we can do is index locations by name and tell you which region and version they belong to — which is what this page is for, and it is updated within 48 hours of each patch.
Named locations that come up in search
| Location | Where it fits |
|---|---|
| Starfall Bay Resort, Tearlake | Duskmoor (1.3) |
| Warren Continent | 1.2 expansion, reached via “Fighting with a Dragon” |
| Eibon Antique Shop | Prologue destination — the quest that unlocks every limited board |
| Scarborough Fair | Where board details are displayed in-game |
| The Midnight Catzebo | Scratcher venue; 1.3 rotated its stock and changed how its Fons count toward Tycoon Level |
| Stillmeadow House | Purchasable property in 1.3 (Fons ×6,900,000, City Tycoon Lvl 13) with farmable crops |
If a location you are looking for is missing here, it is usually an anomaly interior rather than a map region — those are listed on the anomalies page.
