NTE Version History: 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 Patch Notes Summary

This is a condensed, sourced timeline of NTE’s major versions. Everything here comes from the official patch notes published to the game’s Steam news feed; nothing datamined is included.

Version 1.3 — “Rising from the Moonlit Fog” (current)

Live: after the August 19, 2026 maintenance (06:00–11:00 UTC+8). Compensation was Annulith ×300 for the maintenance plus Annulith ×300 for a bug fix, and accounts at Hunter Lvl 11+ received Praise Jam ×56,000 in Bagel Supplies.

New character: S-Class Zankou on the Alluring Shadows board, plus a Nanally rerun on The Ichi-daime. Both close September 9. See the banner schedule.

New Arc: limited S-Class Ravenous Blade (Spellbound Special), with Ready-Ready returning.

New story: main episode “Fogden Game”, unlocked after “Fighting with a Dragon”. A new Home Time invitation mode featuring Zankou was added alongside it.

New location: Duskmoor — natural scenery, the Starfall Bay Resort and the open waters of Tearlake, plus six new anomaly commissions: Twin Blooms, Lantern Parade, Storybook Skirmish, Finale: Da Capo, Fawn Alone and Sunken Door.

New property and vehicle: Stillmeadow House (Fons ×6,900,000, City Tycoon Lvl 13 — crops grown there can be sold for Fons) and the Sirocco (Fons ×4,000,000 at the TerraX dealership).

Events: Lucent Tides mystery box (15 boxes, featuring the “Tide” watercraft), Volley Star, Surf Breaker, Hunter’s Crucible (new challenge stages featuring Mammon and Morphix), Shipwreck Salvage, Circle Gifts login, plus Stamina Recharge and Gold Clash boosts. Most run to September 30, 2026, 05:59 (UTC+8).

Notable quality-of-life changes:

  • Outfit Rotation — a random owned outfit equips on login or scene change
  • “Going, Going, Gone!” gained seasonal leaderboards, venue conditions, quick chat and 20 new collectibles
  • The Witch’s House level cap raised to 15; “999 Nights” gained the Gauntlet of Valor mode
  • City Delivery supports Auto-Drive; Photo Mode works while driving and swimming; F7 hides the UI on PC
  • City Tycoon Lvl 16 perk improved — City Stamina consumption speed 100% → 200%
  • Shinku can now interact directly out of Surging Crimson, ending her transformed state

Version 1.2 — “999 Nights” (July 8, 2026)

New character: exclusive S-Class Shinku on the Before the Dawn board (July 8 – July 29), with the limited S-Class Arc Blushing Mirage on the Resolve Special program.

New story: main episode “Fighting with a Dragon”, requiring completion of “Dreamwalk Corridor” and Hunter Lvl 26. The developer explicitly clarified that this episode is told out of chronological order, as a flashback set after the Scarlet Letter incident — a point that confused a lot of players.

New location: the Warren Continent, reached during that episode.

Events: the 999 Nights event mode and its Button Shop, the asymmetric PvP mode Shadow-n-Seek (July 17 onward), the Neon Rift mystery box featuring the limited vehicle Draco and Esper Zero’s “Glory Days” outfit, plus the Eibon Partner Program returning-player campaign.

Player goodwill payouts: an Appreciation Gift of Annulith ×1,600 accompanied a public apology for launch shortcomings, and accounts created before the version ended received an S-Class Standard Character Selection Box (choice of Sakiri, Baicang, Hathor, Fadia, Daffodill or Jiuyuan).

Version 1.1 — “Dreamwalk Corridor” (June 2026)

The 1.1 cycle introduced the Dreamwalk Corridor story arc and leaned heavily on collaborations: Opera GX, Beard Papa’s, and the Porsche partnership whose Everdriving mystery boxes and 918 Spyder liveries carried into 1.2. Livestream codes from this cycle (DREAMWALK0603, TOMATO100, RACENOLIMIT) are now filed as expired on our codes page.

Launch — July 2026 on Steam

NTE: Neverness to Everness arrived on Steam on July 7–8, 2026 as a free-to-play title with an optional Starter Pack DLC, following the game’s earlier global launch. The Steam listing tags it single-player plus online co-op with full controller support, and lists a 70 GB install — details on the PC requirements page.
